Brief

Canon holds its annual Light Awards competition where it challenges photographers to push the boundaries. The company approached us to create a film that would explain the ins and outs of the complicated event in an entertaining film.

Solution

Leveraging the power of photography we created a film that mixes an explanation of the competition with some of the best photos from previous events. To create spectacle we turned the photography into 2.5 images by rotoscoping elements from the pictures and animating them in three-dimensional space.
