Play Pop Sport

Brief

Toys”R”Us is one of the most iconic toy stores on the planet. The chain traditionally only sells toys by the big brands but this has recently changed. Toys”R”Us has started to develop its own range of toys. Part of this is the Play Pop Sport range which is all about sports outdoors toys. We were asked to create a fun film that would appeal to children and parents and could act as a quick introduction to the collection.

Solution

We shot the spot in various locations across Hong Kong, showcasing the diverse range of toys from the new sports collection. We selected vibrant urban settings and serene wilderness locations to capture the essence of the film.

The concept behind the production was to bring children’s playtime with sports toys to life by immersing them in the grandeur of big stadiums. We incorporated sound effects throughout the film to enhance the experience, including commentary when playing with a football and the exhilarating cheers of a crowd during a boxing match knockout.

To further enhance the spot we blended in colourful animations. This added an extra touch of excitement and fun to the experience.
