Brief

Toyota was launching its brand new C-HR SUV. To create a spectacle for the launch, the company created a competition for people to be the first in the country to experience a test drive in the new car. Winners would be flown to a secret location in Australia to drive the car.

Toyota and Dentsu Australia approached us to create a film that captured the experience of the secret test drives and to promote the different new features of the car.

Solution

We created a high energy content piece with a spy feel that followed the winners as they arrived in Sydney and made their way to the secret location.

We captured Sydney and the test drive from the sky with special aerial permissions to film the famous landmarks with epic drone compositions.

To film the test drive reactions we rigged up the cars with 5 GoPro units and sound equipment which captured genuine excitement throughout the day.
